Again this year we sent some of our top prospects to the great Midland Bull Test to see how our genetics perform in regards to gain and feed efficiency. The 4 bulls we sent are Lots 200-203.
Lot 200 is a son of SydGen 1407 Corona 2016. He has been a favorite from the start with his combination of eye-appeal, docility, and solid performance. He lines up multiple generations of carcass excellence and calving ease from a perfect-uddered 6I6 dam. Tested AMF, NHF by pedigree.
Lot 201 is a natural son of our M109 donor female by the great Mytty In Focus. M109 is a very docile female and is as deep-ribbed as they come. This bull's full brother in the 2008 MBT turned in a gain ratio of 115 and brought $4750. AMF, NHF by pedigree.
Lot 202 is another In Focus from a 208 x Bushwacker dam and he is bred for calving-ease, high growth and maternal milk, giving him a very high $W index. AMF, NHF by pedigree.
Lot 203 is our first son of the Midland record-gaining and high-indexing bull in 2007, GPAR Weight Maker S15, from a heavy-milking 1407 dam. With a weaning ratio of 115 (our highest,) and his capacious phenotype, he's got a good start! Be sure to check out his sire on our Herd Sire page! AMF, NHF by pedigree.
