GAR Commitment 198

GAR Prediction

We began our GAR influenced line in 2002 when we acquired GAR Commitment 198. She is a low BW female tracing back to Blacklass 103, Sleep Easy’s dam, with excellent production ratios for BW, WW, YW, and %IMF: 3-94, 3-103, 2-104, 10-115 respectively, with rankings in the top 10% of the breed for YW and top 5% for %IMF. One of her daughters, GAR Precision 191, is the dam of one of Select Sires’ upcoming young sires, GAR Prediction. With what we’ve seen of this female line, he’ll no doubt offer added carcass quality to any mating.

GAR New Design M109	GAR New Design M109. This female is best described as a “tank,” with her outstanding capacity and depth of body. She is a favorite of many with her extremely docile temperament. Her dam is one of the high value Precision x Scotch Cap 109 going back to Sleep Easy’s dam.
GAR New Design A341	GAR New Design A341. This 036 daughter from a 6807 dam has an almost identical pedigree to M109 (above) with the addition of the legendary female maker Traveler 6807. Her daughters are among our very best young cows.
GAR Precision 1650	GAR Precision 1650. A daughter of 1680 ranking in the top 10% of the breed for YW. She traces back to famous Scotch Cap x Rita 5H11 flush through her dam, GAR 6807 Traveler 504.
Thomas Miss Lucy 1709	Thomas Miss Lucy 1709. She blends Precision 1680 with a Thomas Miss Lucy Pathfinder® dam by Rito 8E8, and was our pick in the 2002 Thomas sale as one of the top bred heifers. She has not disappointed, with strong production and sales records, and she has been flushing very well, averaging more than 20 eggs per flush. Embryo packages have sold to S-H-B Angus, WA, and Whitestone/Krebs, NE. A son sold through the 2007 Treasure Test Bull Sale to the Harrers at Lost Lake Ranch, Great Falls, Montana, a longstanding registered operation.
Thomas Erica 6007	Thomas Erica 6007. Our latest acquisition, Thomas Erica 6007, was a popular 6007 and high-selling bred heifer in Thomas' 2007 sale. She boasts WW and YW EPDs at the top of the breed (+59, +93,) while still keeping BW low at +1.6. She also shows the quiet disposition that her sire, New Design 208 passes on, along with the moderation and muscling her maternal grandsire, BCC Bushwacker 41-93 is legendary for. We think her future is very bright. Watch for her upcoming progeny!
