Welcome to GPAR, owned by Pat and Ada Gardiner of Porthill, Idaho. We started in 1994 with some females from Bob and Hollyce Neumeyer at Jaynbee Ranch in north Idaho, and have since added to them with females from Gardiner Angus Ranch in Ashland, Kansas, and Thomas Angus Ranch in Baker City, Oregon. (The Gardiners are good friends, no relation.) We are proud to introduce our ranch manager, Glenn Ensz and his wife, Kathleen.
Our goal is to provide high-quality, balanced genetics for commercial and purebred breeders. We strive to breed performance and carcass traits into our cattle as much as possible without giving up the “must haves” – fertility, function, phenotype, and calving-ease. We are proud to wear our Midland Bull Test Jacket for Number 1 ADG at the 2007 Test. We are excited about our new herd sire purchased from Vintage Angus Ranch, VAR Midland 5271. Be sure and look him up on our Herd Sire Page. We are also using AI sires that we feel are the best available, including such breed greats as GAR Solution, Rito 2 878, Mytty In Focus and Bon View New Design 208. By using the best sires in the industry in combination with our quality female base and top-end donors, we will continue to advance our breeding program offering predictable genetics with guaranteed customer satisfaction being our highest priority.
